Rehearsal time: dining out

Between Mouthfuls

Mother Figure, Between Mouthfuls and Gosforth’s Fete

Chiltern Players are are delighted to be back on stage to serve up  three comedies written by Alan Ayckbourn with his usual edgy wit..

He takes the lid off the relationships with sharp humour and elements of farce to reveal some unwelcome home truths for the characters.

What could be more enjoyable than a neighbourly visit to offer help, dinner out with your partner in a posh hotel, and a village fete opened by the local councillor with all the trimmings: the local band, wolf cub’s PT display and afternoon tea and cake? What could possibly go wrong?

We looking forward to welcoming you again then.
